Alltel just announced the BlackBerry Bold 9650 is now available online as well as in retail stores. Keep in mind that the Bold 9650 is not only a great smartphone but also getting BlackBerry 6 in the future. It’s available online at shopalltel.com for $149.99, after a $100 mail-in rebate and service agreement.

Alltel releases their official OS 5.0.0.419 for the BlackBerry Tour. This has been leaked out for a while and I believe it was working well for everyone, I am currently running it on my Verizon Tour and it works pretty good. The question now is, what is Verizon Wireless waiting for? If you have a Tour and haven’t upgraded to 5.0 yet, feel free to download this and try it out. Alltel (or rather, the mini-company that remains branded as Alltel) has launched the BlackBerry Curve 8530. The good news? It costs $39.99 – cheaper than the competition, and a better deal since Alltel offers one-year agreements. The bad news? There’s a $100 mail-in rebate involved.
