We saw an influx of Torch ads when it was released, however the 9780 has endured a much more media quiet release. This device is not only featured in a new T-Mobile commercial, but featured in white by a bunch of ballerina’s! Lord of the Dance, Taylor Martin, approves. Check out the video below, and make sure to leave us a comment below if you have gotten a chance to use this new Bold!

Storm 3 on its way, shows up in Best Buy Mobile’s Genie system.
While this isn’t the biggest thing in the world, it’s a dinosaur bone for those pups eagerly awaiting that *ahem* GORGEOUS device that we’ve seen in pictures up to this point. The foreshadowing of events that often comes in the Genie system has yet to fail us, and today I cannot say I’m satisfied any less. The Storm 3 has shown up in said system, pointing to the fact that we can expect to see the Storm 3 soon. If all goes well, it may even show up before the holiday season!
While the Storm 3 hasn’t been officially announced, and little is known about it, the pictures have put it on a pedestal for me. According to several reliable sources, we can almost surely expect the QNX operating system on the device. This, above all, excites me. We can only hope that this phone is as awesome as it looks, because RIM needs a lifeline. If nothing else, we need a phone that makes Taylor drop his sushi addiction to save up some money for it.

New Verizon flyer touts BlackBerry 6
If you’re a Verizon BlackBerry user patiently awaiting BlackBerry 6, this may interest you quite a bit. A new Verizon BlackBerrry poster has posed for the camera, and it’s BlackBerry 6 talk along with it. Most of us have given BlackBerry 6 a go, and it’s a nice upgrade that’s definitely worth sticking around for. Unfortunately, the poster doesn’t give any dates, so it’s still just a waiting game. The good thing is that with Verizon ad kits hitting brick and mortar stores, the update is surely just around the corner. Hey, maybe Big Red will get into the holiday spirit and give BlackBerry 6 as a Christmas present to us all. Hang tight, and we’ll let you know as more information comes.

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 now available from Virgin Mobile and Bell Mobility
Virgin Mobile is the next carrier to launch the BlackBerry Bold 9780. They will be offering the 9780 in both white and black. Pricing will run you $124.99 on a 3-year contract, or $499.99 to purchase it outright. To learn more about the Bold 9780 from Virgin Mobile, you can visit their official website by clicking here.
Not to be left behind, Bell Mobility has also launched the BlackBerry Bold 9780 today. At this time Bell will only be offering the 9780 in black, but that might soon change seeing how the white 9780′s popularity has grown. By choosing Bell you will be saving a whole nickel with a 3-year contract only costing you $124.95. To purchase the 9780 without a contract, it will cost you $499.95. Click here to visit Bell’s official website.

I know I’ve said this before, but these prices seem a little high to me. Are you on Bell or Vigin Mobile? Is this what you’ve been waiting for, or will you hold off until the price goes down? Comment below.

White BlackBerry Torch 9800 and Bold 9780 dummy units show up at Rogers Wireless
The white BlackBerry Torch 9800 and Bold 9780 dummy units have been spotted at Rogers Wireless, and both looking very enticing. The Torch 9800 will set you back $229.99 on a 3-year contract, and the Bold 9780 will run $149.99 for 3-years. The actual devices will be arriving shortly, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. As soon as launch date information becomes available I will update this post.
Love the white Bold 9780, but to me these prices seem kinda high for a 3-year contract. Do they seem high to you, or is this normal? Comment below.
