RIM has delivered the first update to version 6 of BlackBerry Desktop Manager since its release last month. It has no change log and is most likely it’s just a maintenance repair. Current 6.0 users really have no dire need to download as they may see no major changes, but there’s nothing stopping you if you want the latest version. For those still using version 5 or older it would be a great idea to head over to the BlackBerry website and update the software. If you find anything worth mentioning be sure to let us know in the comments.

BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 6.0.0.43 crashes during organizer sync (because of Intellisync) just like previous versions. I wish they would fix this. The only good the desktop manager does is backup my phone – that’s it. I’m very disappointed.
