Finally! It seems there appeared a picture with some more hot details about Storm 3 today. As entitled on the picture what we’ll be seeing is a “refreshed” version of the Storm 2 running BlackBerry 6 (not a completely new OS as some sources said). As already seen with the slider we’ll get double RAM (512 MB), a 5 megapixel camera and 802.11n WiFi. Hopefully on BlackBerry 6 and specifically on this phone we’ll get to see the new awesome WebKit browser. Also mentioned on the “Odin Refresh” training slide is a 3G mobile hotspot functionality.
As mentioned on Engadget the Storm 3 may be running on Verizon, and the bottom of the slide lookes like and “___ember” month. Looks like the Storm 3 may hit the stores earlier than we – or at least I – expected.
Although I have to say I’m kind of disappointed because I got so excited when I heard the specs from last time (there’s no OS of its own and there’s no 1GB RAM), though, the training slide doesn’t mention the CPU at all. No word about the SurePress yet. Are you excited to hear more? I am!
Give us your thoughts and all your excitement in the comments and our forums!

Im disappointed. I was very excited at the thoguht of seeing RIM step its game up to the big league along side the Droid X, Evo 4G, Incredible, Galax S and iPhone. The rumors raised my hopes up too high. The only thing keeping me now is OS6. How does a flagship device not have a 1GHz processor. This is straight up bull!!!!! They should have bought Palm and just modify their webOS for the Storm 3 and 4. Now thats an iPhone/Droid killer….hahahahahahahahahaha
Honestly it’s looking like a revamp of the storm 2. Just 64mb of more ram, A upgrade of the camera, And OS6 with maybe a few storm exclusives…. I was holding out that maybe blackberry got the message, That people don’t what to half to upgrade there phone every few year’s when something new comes out… With the way some of the droid devises are. I could see people holding on to them for a wile, But hey maybe I’m just being odd about it… Maybe I’m just getting tired of this being a disposable world that we live in…
y dont they never send any of the storms to t-mobile.
I was told by a T-Mobile trainer that they will be receiving a GSM version of the Storm 3. Obviously this is just a notch more than a rumor but my friend was pretty certain about his information. He claims it is going to be a early November release. I do hope is info is correct.
Sense the 9530 and 9550 both could be unlocked and use a sim card Ya I could see this happen.
