If you were one of the many that downloaded the Trillian for BlackBerry beta that was announced last week, there is now an update for it. There were some known bugs with the initial release and the update apparently fixes those known issues. I haven’t personally tried the Trillian for BlackBerry application out yet due to me only using Gtalk and BBM, so it doesn’t really appeal to me in any way. But if I were to use other services like AIM, Yahoo IM, etc. I would definitely download this, especially while it’s still in beta. The update should automatically be pushed to your device if you have the previous version installed. If you haven’t and are interested in getting Trillian for BlackBerry, click here.
Here are some of the fixes included in the update:
- ‘Auth’ contacts should be in offline group
- AutoText support
- BIS connection problems
- Can’t add accounts once signed in
- Constant Red LED
- Double spacebar & auto caps support
- Fix LED speed to mirror standard speed
- HideĀ avatars and other internal images from BB Media app
- LED color support
- List control not exposing expand/collapse menu options
- Usernames with “_” aren’t being allowed but should be
- Improvements to battery usage
If you have downloaded the update, how is it working? Is it better? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
