Finally, a cure for the Mondays! Some Storm3 information has been leaked over the weekend, and boy are we excited! The Storm3 is said to sport a 1GHz processor, 8GB of internal memory, and possibly 1 GB of flash memory. BlackBerry 6 will not reach the Storm3, instead it will have an custom operating system all to itself. Sure-type will still be included and the camera will be 5 megapixels (no details on flash, but we can only assume it will be included). The Storm3 could also possibly be the first phone on the LTE network for Verizon.
To me, this seems like something in the right direction that could possibly revive RIM. Having it’s own personal operating system seems to be a wise step. Please remember that these steps are not final decisions, but rather a tentative leak so take this with a grain of salt. Comment below with you opinions, as well as your Storm3 wishlist. Enjoy your week, and stay tuned for more updates.

It sounds almost to good to be true. As far as a custom OS? I’m not sure if that is the best way for them to go, I guess as long as they don’t try to go the way of motoblur. I mean being connected is nice and all, But There are just times where I’m happy going and looking my self.
With me being a Storm 1 user, This progress will be welcome, But it’s going to have to impress and not require a week to learn how to use it.
I’m a staunch believer in the hardware qwerty (Tour, Bold). However, I’ve played with the Storm 2, and if the keyboard tech is anything like the Storm 2, the 3 will be awesome paired with those stats!
I’m very excited to see where the 3 ends up.
