According to Reuters, Wall Street has an eye on Research in Motion. The current development of the Pearl 9100, webkit browser and Tour 2 are the current apple of Wall Street’s eye. According to an analyst at TD Newcrest, Chris Umiastowski, RIM’s new browser will be comparable with Apple and Android’s browsers. He believes that the new Pearl will be very successful, just like its predecessor; especially considering its updated trackpad, 3G capability, and improved screen. The analyst also confirms that there is a touch screen/QWERTY device in development (Magnum? Slider?), but did not say if it would be definitively released.
