RIM’s Mike Lazaridis makes Keynote Presentation at Mobile World Congress

Mike Lazaridis made his Keynote Address at Mobile World Congress today. After recognizing RIM’s leadership in the Smartphone market, he goes on to warn that bandwidth must be conserved in order to maintain operability of wireless data.   Mike goes on to talk about how efficient RIM handsets are and how important RIM’s platform will be going forward.  RIM’s efficient architecture is found in the new Webkit platform.  According to Mike, a carrier can support three Blackberry browsing sessions for every one other Smartphone browsing session.
