AT&T today launched OS 5.0.0.405 for the BlackBerry Bold 9700, a significant upgrade (in a build perspective, at least) from the stock 5.0.0.296 installed at launch. It can be installed directly from RIM’s website, or from your device using the “Wireless Update” tool. When you upgrade your Bold, give us a shout in the forums and let us know how it went!

Anyone know of the changes involved with this new OS update? I’m still looking through settings and stuff but haven’t found anything different from the original OS build it came with.
Did the update, haven’t seen anything new per say however I have been having issues with my phone since the update. Deleted my browser and connects to media net instead, will not connect to the internet most of the time and so on and so forth. Haven’t contacted ATT support yet to see if it is an issue with the update or if I did something to harm the software.
